Our traditional products are prepared with fruits and vegetables from the farm, grown in organic production. From June 2021, we will have our new store open, in a space that also serves as a restaurant. We will have available our entire range as well as the aromatic herbs we produce at Quinta do Mel.
One of the most charismatic products in the Algarve.Due to its nutritional properties and preserving capacity it was taken by the Algarve's fishermen on the long codfish journeys at the north sea..Our Fig Cheese is made with our fruits and is great to accompany a coffee at the end of the meal.
Produced without artificial aromas or preservatives and with fruits and vegetables from our production, our jams are recognized for their quality and exquisite taste. They are sold in Quinta do Freixo, Quinta do Mel and in several gourmet stores in Portugal and other countries. Some reference hotel chains, have also choose our jams to serve their guests at breakfast.
Fig firewater is, along with the "Medronho" firewater, the most typical distilled beverages in the Algarve. In our traditional destilery , every year we produce this drink that reaches about 44º of Alcohol, very aromatic and smooth.
From our sheep we make virgin wool blankets. This noble material and with very important properties is now being rediscovered by fishermen, sportsmen and industry with Hi- technology. Our virgin wool blankets are very comfortable and warm.
